Reason for recommending: MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) flies at least twice a week to Marsabit in northern Kenya, over 500 kms from Nairobi. You don't have to be a missionary to use MAF, and it's a quick and convenient way to get to Marsabit, often with a view of Mount Kenya thrown in. MAF flies from Wilson Airport in Nairobi - easier than Jomo Kenyatta Airport.
