Finding fuel in northern Kenya can be tricky. Even at specific sizeable towns where you would expect to find it, petrol and diesel can prove elusive. There are a few isolated towns in Northern Kenya where you might expect to find it but because of their limited access, you could be disappointed. Don't expect to rely on refuelling points, especially along the road to the east of Lake Turkana, going towards Ethiopia. Make sure you take a couple of spare jerry cans and keep in mind that even a sizeable town in the area might not be able to provide.
